North London misfits Sorry have followed up their 2020 album 925 with a fresh EP Twix us Twain. Leaking singles 'Cigarette Packet' and 'Separate', Sorry seem to have been keeping busy, cocooning themselves in introversion, and making videos and music that are strange, enticing, and relatable to a city-dweller during lockdown. The new EP has been released as one Youtube stream, each song with their own self-directed video (with the help of friend Flo Webb). The last track (at 10:03)​ is 'Favourite'. The video for this song was directed and Edited by FLASHA Prod. (Flo Webb & Asha Lorenz), "starring Sydney's dog Pinky". It's perhaps the most memorable and comedic video, you could even say it's our favourite. It captures a the small dog 'Pinky' doing human things, like playing the piano and being a tourist in London. The most stripped-back track on the record, it features some twangy electric guitar strums and Asha's distinctly sombre vocals, she asks, 'Am I your favourite song, am I your favourite one?'...'I just want to be claimed and then taken away'. Snippets of laughter and background chatter over a lo-fi drum beat create a sense of ambience and nostalgia.
